I'm Ryan!

I've been playing games as long as I can remember, and always have had a love of storytelling.

I have a technical background in computer science, along with some creative experience like theater and improv comedy. I've had the chance to work with some industry titans at Id Software, and was a combat designer on DOOM: The Dark Ages.

Adventurer Extraordinaire

I love to travel as much as I can in my free time, whether it's skiing down the peaks of Colorado, hiking up the Scottish highlands, or diving in the tide pools of St. Croix.

There's a lot to do and see out there, and I'm going to see as much as I can.

Nerd Beyond Compare

My hobbies and obsessions don't stop at video games. I'm a huge fan of tabletop and card games (D&D especially) and spend probably too much time thinking about how cool swords are.

I love to go to Ren Faires and conventions to hang out with as many people in this wonderful community as I can.

And He Bakes!

I also love to cook and bake, which has served me very well over the years. Meeting new people always seems to go much better after you offer them homemade desserts, go figure.

I've created a lot of my own recipes for cookies and brownies, and love to experiment with others. I've got enough to put together a small cookbook at this point. My personal favorite are my cookies n' cream cookies
